Director's Note

When the Play & Director Selection Committee first reviewed the script for “Tin Woman,” we thought maybe it should be featured as a Ghost Light show. We have waited three years to fit this lovely play into a season since it is not the Imps’ usual comedic fare.

But I called dibs on directing from the beginning; you see, my brother Bobby was the recipient of a double lung transplant in 1997. He was the best big brother a girl could ever wish for. I am so grateful that he was able to borrow lungs for 11 years. He is still with me every day in memory and spirit. Thank you to his Donor’s family.

To quote the character Sammy, “no coincidences - it is all the circle!” So visit Donor Alliance, check the box on your driver’s license, and Recycle Yourself!

Billy Herrington

This show marks Billy's 20th season with the Impossible Players. You may have seen him in such shows as Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Clark Gable Slept Here, Harvey, and Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. He was also the director of Christmas Belles and this season's production of Dashing Through the Snow.

Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson ("Hank") has been associated with Impossible Players for many years as an actor, director, and set designer. His last Impy role was back in 2022 as Ned, the reluctant governor in THE OUTSIDER. If he seems familiar, you might be a fan of Pueblo's annual Historic Ghost Walk!

Alice Borden

Chris Gibson Stuart

Chris has been an Imp for decades. She has acted, directed, produced and served on the board in several capacities; she was last seen on stage as Annie in "Calendar Girls." She hopes you enjoy the show and hug your loved ones next time (and every time) you see them!

Sammy Borden

Maranda Sandoval

Maranda Sandoval (Sammy) has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Music Performance from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. This is her fifth performance at The Impossible Playhouse and is very excited to be working with this amazing cast. You may have recently seen her in the Ghost Light Series show Pomona as Ollie or The Value of Moscow as Clara. Some of Maranda's favorite performances include Fun Home as Helen Bechdel, A Christmas Carol as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Grease as Jan, First Date as Casey, Stage Kiss as She, Little Shop of Horrors as Crystal, and Cabaret as Lulu. She enjoys playing and teaching piano, and solving crossword puzzles. Maranda would like to thank her family, her mom, and Geoffrey for being there no matter what and supporting her in everything she does.

Haven is new to the Impossible Players, and this is her first role on stage. She is very excited and hopes you enjoy the show!

My name is Alora, and this is my first show with the Impossible Players. I'm super excited to be your nurse this evening. I hope you can give me, and your theatre experience, a good review when asked.

Alexandra Deary

Lexi has been performing longer than she has been walking - her first pageant was at 6 months of age. Since then, she has performed in a number of pageants and talent shows, filmed television episodes and advertisements, and recorded voice overs for Disney. She discovered the stage in a more theatrical sense in middle school, and she has never turned back. Recent roles include Betty Blue in Reading Between the Lies; Rose in The Value of Moscow; and Zeppo in Pomona. Finally deviating from her usual bubbly stage persona, she is excited to demonstrate a different side of herself to tell Joy's story.
